Incredible Game.. Even as an early release it is solid overall. Excellent character sprites, good sound tracks, no hentai tentacle monsters from the 4th dimension. The character dialogue leaves much to be desired imo but nevertheless it's not like the stuff you'll find in fanfiction.net. Jokes aside the interactions are nice and I can't wait so see the rest of the story unfold. The fact you have the creator soloing this speaks volumes of his/her talent. Tbh it's nice to play these sorts of games and not feel like you're alone. You get spaceship buddies that can actually fight back!Currently I'd give this game in it's current state a 9.69/10. It's a work in progress, but none the less i like it.Would prefer a little more choice based interaction to balance out the gameplay.. I usually dont make reviews or enjoy early access games, however, ive been surprised twice this month, the first was with battlerite, and the other was this game. I enjoy visual novels, specially romantic ones. And when i saw the romance tag on this work, together with the art style the author has, made me purchase this game regardless of being in early access.I didnt get much romance, since the story is still incomplete, but i got something i did not think id find in a vn, a good "combat" system. I played the casual mode, it was difficult, and i will try the normal mode after new story comes out, the characters are really charming and have a great development so far.The only negatives i can think of are proper of an early access game (few bugs here and there, unpolished details, etc) , and cant be solved without funds, which will only come if more ppl try this game. So, my honest review?if you compare this to all the other good visual novels out there, id give it an 8\/10, however, this game was made by a single person and i think it deserves a bit more credit than those that are made by lots. so id give a 9\/10. Good music, good thematic, Excellent art, and great combat. This creator deserves a chance to show its full potential, lets give it a chance.. Haven't progressed much into the story but the interactions are nice and finding new ships is pretty fun c:. I played the kickstarter demo a long time ago and I gotta say I really enjoyed it, and that's the reason why I bought it on steam. In this updated version of the game though, I did notice some changes that I didn't like. In the demo some npcs had similar art syle to that of the main characters, but now some seem to have 3D-like character models as their character portrait, you know when someone is talking and stuff, that's the only gripe I have with it.I recommend you find the demo from kickstarter and try it out, if your interested in what your seeing on the video\/images on the steam page that is. Paying for an early access game is risky but in my opinion this game is worth it and its not that expensive.*will make a better review once the full game is out* I still can't decide who is best grill, Arcadia or Dawn. I am pleasantly surprised by this game. The art is fantastic, the battle is easier to get used to than Endless Sky, the music is space relaxing and the worst problem I have with the game (other than the save... I suppose that will be remedied in the future) is trying to grab monies (please make them easier to pick up, it's exasperating trying to reposition to grab them when they have such small hitboxes). I am kinda worried how much content the full game will have because... well it really isn't too much at the moment. The title screen can look prettier and I can't Alt+F4 out of the game in full screen. Characters fawn over the MC a bit too easily... but this is Early Access. I look forward to its full release. Also, let's have a melee weapon on our ship. I recall a Unity jam I went to where someone made a 2D space game with ships wielding lightsabers. It was awesome.. I've rarely review Early Access games, but this one stuck with me enough to spur me into action. It fills a niche I've sought after for a while: a good Visual Novel with equally solid gameplay mechanics. It plays a good bit like the 'Escape Velocity' series of games, but with a much better interface for story and choices. The art is gorgeous, the story engaging, and the gameplay is satifying in both depth and challenge. If any of what I said sounds up your alley, I highly recommend supporting Omni Link!. Haven't progressed much into the story but the interactions are nice and finding new ships is pretty fun c:
